The XIIIth annual APEC Women Leaders Network Meeting was held in Arequipa, Peru (the country - chairman of the forum Asian-Pacific Economic Cooperation in current year) from May 12 to 14, 2008. The Meeting involved representative of business and public organization from 21 countries of APEC.
The head of the Russian women delegation was Irina Gorbulina, President, Russian Academy of Business, co-chairman of the Advisory council of woman-leaders of Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, member of Public Chamber of the Russian Federation.
In this year APEC Women Leaders Network Meeting has passed under the motto "Successful women - successful economy "The XIIIth annual APEC Women Leaders Network Meeting involved more than 300 representatives of public and private sectors of economy, public organization from 21 country of Asian-Pacific Economic Cooperation. The main themes of the meeting — women in the export business, business social responsibility, women in the agriculture, individual business and microfinancing.
